Napa Valley Castle

If you read my Wine Tasting blog post I mentioned that we went to Grgich Hills, that same day we checked out the activity stand in our hotel lobby and saw a picture of a beautiful castle in one of the brochures. It was a castle so what wouldn’t be romantic about it. We knew we had arrived at Castello Di Amorosa when we saw this driveway.

Not only did the driveway take my breath away but OMG the castle! Guys! Seriously! I didn’t think I could fall more in love with Napa.

Castello di Amorosa

These picture do NO JUSTICE. Not only did I fall in love with the landscape but I also fell in love with architecture of the castle. This castle was built so well that I felt like I was in Italy or something. I didn’t read into the history so much before going here but their website tells a little bit about it. I cant even choose what part of the castle I loved the most. Hands down the most amazing and beautiful place in Napa Valley.

The wine tasting was in their wine cellar, at first I was like huh weird location but it made the wine tasting even better. They also have a bunch of neat things to purchase. We actually bought this gold dragon pourer and of course a couple bottles of wine.

No matter what I say in this blog or what pictures I post, you need to go there for yourself to understand how I fell in love with this place.

Share with me your story of a beautiful castle that you experienced? Where was it? Have you been to this castle? How was it for you? I wanna know all about it. Me ke aloha -SIMPLY SHANA
